Narrowing the scope

We shifted our focus to the business owner

What tools would they need when looking for a team to complete their project?

Key Insight

In order for the client to trust that the right team will be found, the client must be able to clearly and effectively communicate their needs to match with the right team

2.Request For Proposal Form Design

RFP is the MVP

  • Learn

    We researched the competition and learned there was a potential niche for our design proposition

  • Connect

    We interviewed business owners and found many didn’t know anything about how to craft a Request for Proposal to recruit a design team

  • MVP

    Communication was the key. We needed to ensure the client was able to communicate their digital needs clearly and confidently in order to trust that the right team would be matched

Once we created the main task flow, we were able to sketch and then, create wireframes on Figma

 
 
 

8.Future Considerations

MORE DATA

We learned a lot in this case study but most importantly, it was that we needed more data in the research phase

We realized that our empathy map was lacking in content which made our persona and experience map less thorough than it could be

In order to conduct a more thorough case study in the future we would have to interview more participants. We would also ideally like to conduct qualitative surveys

SCOPE EXPLORATION

Throwing out old ideas and learning from research is necessary. Narrowing the scope of our research enabled us to find the main problem- inexperienced new entrepreneurs don’t know how to communicate their needs to a team- and craft a solution- guiding new entrepreneurs through the process of creating an RFP
